Former Secondary Maths Teacher

I taught Maths for 6 years. Schools. Tuition centers. Most recently at Mercy Education Campus.

I loved being in the classroom. But I hated what I couldn't do.

27 students. 45 minutes. One of me.

I could see the confusion in some faces. The moment they got lost. The quiet decision to pretend they understood.

I wanted to stop, go to their desk, and explain it differently. But I couldn't. There wasn't time. There were 26 other students waiting.

So I'd go home and think about those faces.

One day I realized: The problem wasn't the students. It was the ratio.

One teacher to forty students will always fail most of them.

That's when I decided to build something different.
